With manpower in countries across the Middle East and Africa, our client is a people centric humanitarian organisation whom provide personnel to politically in stable and conflict affected countries. They have a strong finance team of 3 Account Clerks, 2 Accountants and 1 Credit Controller, all of whom report into the Finance Controller on a daily basis. This role is available due to the company taking on a large new project and therefore there has been a significant increase in the workload of the team.Microsoft Excel is used extensively within the finance team and skills here; including pivot tables, v look ups and macros are a distinct advantage for this role. Day to day duties of the Accounts Clerk will include daily posting of all invoices onto the system, updating ledgers and journals, accounts receivable and payable and expenses management. It is also expected that you will be involved in the input of payroll for the MENA region and have a hands-on approach to assist where needed, in order to meet all financial deadlines within the team. REQUIREMENTS: This role would be ideal for those candidates wishing to work in an extremely fast moving and demanding environment to enhance their early finance career. Successful candidates will possess passion, ambition and high energy levels alongside a related finance degree with a minimum of 1 years experience. Those from within an NGO establishment are considered extremely advantageous, as are candidates with fluency in the Tagalog language.
