Our client a Globally present an international company providing enterprise solutions is now looking for a Customer Support Engineer to work in their Dubai office. Working as part of a team, the successful applicant will be providing technical support for a software product that is in use by a large government organisation. The role will be required to work with the Customer Support Manager for Support and Maintenance of Infrastructure and Application Support. The role is also responsible to provide extendable support for implementing Projects driven by Professional Services Manager.Role ObjectiveTo provide day-to-day Technical Support to customers by maintaining their systems, investigating and tracking all issues, along with testing and deployment of software changes and new releases.An ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction by meeting their requirements proactively and ensuring all SLA commitments are met. REQUIREMENTS: Skills and ExperiencesBachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field will be highly regardedCertified in Microsoft SQL Database AdministrationCertified in Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2016, Implementation and maintenanceCertified in Business Intelligence Certifications(Recommended Qlik Sense Tool)Certified in Redhat Linux administration and managementMinimum 4-5 Years solid experience in technical hands on support roles:-Administration, Management of Microsoft SQL Database Setup-Experience in handling Database Level Disaster recovery Setup-Experience in Design and implementation of Enterprise wise Database setup.-Experience in Business Intelligence Tool (Qlik Sense) implementation and administration.-Experience in VMware Administration and Management-Experience in Java or Web based application management-Supporting large systems with many users-Supporting a mixed Windows and Linux Environment Administration & Management-Utilising Business Intelligence Skills essentially QlikSenseAbility to understand and support issues related Telecom equipment (In-built mobile terminal devices).A ability to interpret Technical architecture of infrastructure servicesExpertise in creating maintenance or deployment scripts in both Windows and Linux will be highly desirableExpertise in VMware configuration and maintenance, particularly ESX Server and View would be highly desirableExperience following ITIL processes for Incident management and Change & Release managementPossess the ability to adapt to the various internal procedures of a client while still adhering to company procedures and policiesAbility to develop and comprehend concepts and learn new skills quickly and thoroughly
