They will serve as a technical expert for building, improving and maintaining the eCommerce UX/UI across all our digital touch points.Expectations include the execution of rapid, clean, optimized, HTML/CSS/Javascript/Liquid that transforms design assets into engaging and powerful brand experiences.Key Responsibilities:Editing Shopify liquid code and using the Shopify Storefront APIAbility to add custom functionality to the Shopify platform/custom Shopify theme developmentDesigning and producing engaging content in various formats across multiple digital platformsCreating engaging graphics for web, social, email and app distributionCrafting high-quality original concepts with minimal directionPrioritizing workload and managing expectations per direction from Digital DirectorWorking inter-departmentally to ensure all brand objectives are being metHave clean code, use commentsAbility to A/B test with OptimizeMust know Shopify Liquid LanguageCreating & Maintaining site UX/UI REQUIREMENTS: Skills/Experience Required:Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience with Shopify coding & designMinimum of 2 years experience with Illustrator and PhotoshopExtensive knowledge with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (vanilla, jQuery, JSON, Gulp, Grunt)Experience with RubyExperience developing e-commerce website front-endsA portfolio that shows a strong sense of design and illustrationAbility to plan and execute projects on timeAttention to detailTo be comfortable working in a fast paced and multi-functioning production environment
