Senior Technical Engineer - Arabic Speaker

Job Description

Required to join an established building contractor in Abu Dhabi working on government and military building projects. The successful candidate will be responsible forPreparing and maintaining accurate engineering recordsSupervise Architectural draftsmen for shop drawings preparation and lead the coordination with otherdisciplines and specialist subcontractors shop drawingsProvide technical support to the construction teamPrepare request for quotations for all Civil and Finish materialsPerform full technical review of suppliers quotations and specialist subcontractors offersPerform technical review of suppliers and subcontractors material submittals, reports and shop drawingsPrepare engineering quantity take offsAttend technical meetings with Consultant and Client to discuss and resolve all technical aspects of theprojectPrepare engineering scope of works for Subcontract agreementsApply and coordinate all Estidama requirementsMonitor subcontractors & suppliers material & shop drawing submittals & approvalsMonitor materials delivery & subcontractors progress as per baseline programme REQUIREMENTS: Applicants should meet the following criteriaBachelor Degree in Civil Engineering / ArchitecturalA minimum 8 years experience working within a technical role for a contractorMUST have experience of working on projects in the UAEPreference given to those candidates currently residing in the UAEMUST be fluent in Arabic
