Our client an Engineering contractor requires a Senior QS/managing QS for the business in Dubai, you be based in the office and report into the senior Commercial manager.You will be responsible for managing various commercial contracts at one time ranging from 10-200 million.Duties include:Consult with clients, vendors and various internal departments to discuss costMonitor costs from vendors or sub-contractors and explore variancesAll standard duties ( measurements, valuations )Set up cost monitoring and reporting systemsEstimating the quality and costs of materials REQUIREMENTS: REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 8 years experienceBackground in Contracting/ConsultancyMust be able to work without support and make management decisions. Must be based in the UAE and able to start in the next 2 weeks.
