Employment: Full Time Position Title: Senior Procurement OfficerEmployment Type: Full TimeSalary: up to 40k AED all inclusive depending on experience and qualifications, plus education assistance and annual bonusJob Location: Abu Dhabi, UAEAbout the Client:The hiring company is one of the leading financial institutions in the UAE.Job Role:Undertake procurement operations in line with the annual purchasing plan including vendor liaising, negotiations, contracting ensuring adherence to organizational standards and requirementsEnsure timely completion and closure of all procurement processes including tendering, sourcing, vendor evaluation and selection, negotiation, contracting etc.Support procurement operations staying abreast of potential suppliers and carry out appropriate assessments to identify shortlistsIdentify and create a pool of vendors ensuring equality among potential vendors and minimizing associated riskPrepare purchase orders as per the contractRegister new vendors / suppliers as and when required post verification and documentationUndertake surveys or solicit inputs from the users to evaluate effectiveness of service delivered by vendorsMaintain and regularly review procurement records and procurement contracts for easy retrieval of informationAssume responsibility for ensuring the facilities at all customer touchpoints hold all adequate inventories and supplies to support the efficient operationsOversee maintenance and leasing and ensure availability of supplies at all customer touchpoints and take necessary action as and when required REQUIREMENTS: REQUIREMENTS:Open to UAE Nationals / EmiratiMale/Female, 45 years old and belowBachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or any relevant fieldAt least 4 years relevant experience in procurement; experience in banking or financial institutions industry is an advantageMust have a family book
