Senior Materials (Concrete) Engineer

Job Description

Wed love to hear from you if you have: * BEng /BSc (Hons) in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited university. * Member of/working towards associated Professional body membership will be preferred. * Minimum of +15 years experience (including +5 years in GCC) in construction and supervision of Marine and Port civil and concrete works (material, design, precast Quay walls. * Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and technical skills. * Excellent knowledge of construction repair materials and technology. * The ability to problem-solve and use initiative to analyze and respond appropriately to a situation. * Excellent knowledge of the methods, materials, tools, and equipment employed in building, infrastructure, and facilities construction and maintenance in the field of Civil and Structural works as related to Port facilities and infrastructure. * Excellent knowledge of Port requirements and international standards. * Good knowledge in Port equipment. * Must be able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way * Member of/working towards associated Professional body membership will be preferred * History of working with an international engineering consultancy and prior experience in site supervision roles. * Excellent computer/software skills (MS Office, AutoCAD). * Excellent leadership and communication skills. * Accuracy & precision of work. * Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. * Accountability for assigned work.all blocks, repair, batching plant inspection) with a proven successful track record.What if we canAs well as rewarding you with competitive pay, WSP offers standard benefits including first class medical cover, generous annual leave, and paid professional subscriptions.Be you, be happy - we strive to have a friendly and inclusive culture that respects and maximizes the contribution individuals can bring to WSP.
