Senior Manager Technology Risk

Job Description

As a Risk Senior Manager, youll build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers and develop a portfolio of business by focusing on high impact opportunities. Youll lead presentations and proposals for projects and provide subject matter insight to bids and proposals. Drawing on your skills and experience, youll create innovative commercial insights for clients, adapt methods and practices to fit operational team and cultural needs, and contribute to thought leadership.Youll package overall project findings into clear, concise, high-quality work products. Youll also provide subject matter guidance on one or more services, leveraging your knowledge and experience to shape Ernst & Youngs services to meet client problems.Driving improvements in business processes, youll serve as a role model for quality and risk management and confirm that project teams understand and comply with Ernst & Youngs guidelines. Youll work to build, manage and motivate high-performing teams, and help our staff to develop sustainable competencies.Client responsibilities- Manage financial aspects of engagements and communicate significant issues, fees and estimates-to-complete to partners and clients- Help partners generate new business opportunities and build client networks and relationships- Understand Ernst & Youngs service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients- Build strong internal relationships within Ernst & Young Advisory Services and with other services across the organizationPeople responsibilities- Develop people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring all levels of staff- Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff- Contribute to people initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training Risk professionals- Contribute to an educational program to continually develop interpersonal and technical skills of staff- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures and communicate these to all levels of staff REQUIREMENTS: Technical skills requirements (Amend the following as required)- Industry related certification (e.g., CPA/CA, CMA, RICS)- Seven years of related work experience- Strong skills in project management and engagement closure- Experience of/and interest in recruiting and professional development- Proficiency with MS Office- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Business or other related field- Experience in a management role- International business experience preferredAdditional skills requirements- Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills- Demonstrated integrity, values, principles, and work ethic- Proficiency in Arabic language skills are highly desirableWho we areRisk management protects business performance and contributes to sustainability in results.
