Senior Financial Accountant

Job Description

Employment: Full Time Job Duration: Temporary Employment *This is a 12 month contract.One of our well-known multinational clients based in the DIFC is looking to hire a senior financial accountant. The close-knit finance team are all very competent and highly qualified professionals from the Big 4.The role reports into the Head of Finance directly, and works alongside 2 other people in finance.This is a highly technical role You should be 100% up to date with IFRS and fully qualified (CA, ACCA,CPA), therefore someone who has been trained as an auditor in the Big 4 is preferred. Industry experience of 2-3 years is also required.ResponsibilitiesPreparing financial statementsPreparing and analysing multiple management reportsAnalysing financial reports and records using ExcelCompleting and reviewing complex reconciliations, providing training on reconciliations and accounting processesAdvising on correct general ledger accounts for transactionsRegional VAT returns Salary: AED 24,000 to 26,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances. REQUIREMENTS: Big 4 experience (min 3 yrs)+ industry experience of 2-3 years (in a Fortune 500 multinational company)Chartered accountant (3-8 yrs PQE)Team playerAvailable to start within 2 weeksExcellent communication & interpersonal skills, well presented and confidentStrong attention to detailYou must be OK with joining on a 12 month contract basis.Thank you for your interest.
