Senior Cost Controller

Job Description

Employment: Full Time Job Duration: Permanent Employment The Role* Prepare and coordinate the monthly and quarterly reports* Support the preparation of quarterly presentation to the management along with the Board presentation* Support and prepare the budget review exercise* Coordinates site financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions* Implement, administer and maintain cost control system and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts for projects of medium complexity and value;* Preparation and review of cost estimates for projects and overheads* Provide cost information to support decision and alternative selection* Extract data from several sources, transforming it to fit operational needs* Reconcile data to support complete accuracy and creates a clean audit trail* Provide forecasts and cash flow analysis on projects* Manage the cost report and provide regular / monthly / quarterly updates on financial position* Manage the development, validation and maintenance of the project schedule* Develop reporting tracking tools and generates cost reports on regular basis including evaluation of earned value, project progress. REQUIREMENTS: The CandidatePlease apply if you are/have:* Based in the UAE already* Have previous international working experience from Europe or the US* Have Construction industry experience* Have 10+ years of Cost Control experience* Have a Masters Degree in Finance, Engineering or Construction Management (or related field) experienceOther Competencies/Skills:* Exceptionally well-organized with an aptitude for data* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal* Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately* Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with department heads / project heads* Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problemsPreferred Qualifications* 10+ years of Cost Control experience* Masters degree in finance, Engineering or Construction Management or in related fieldThe CompanyRobert Half is currently and exclusively working on a Senior Cost Controller mandate with our European client. The client is a very well-known, successful construction business founded more than 100 years ago. Due to growth, they are now looking for a Senior Cost Controller to join their team.Salary and BenefitsSalary range is between 18-28k AED per month depending on experience.
