Job Description

Employment: Full Time Utilizing hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practicesPerform complex accounting activities and financial analysesManage accountantsManage tax audits and tax returnsDirect internal and external audits to ensure complianceFacilitate and complete monthly close procedures/Manage the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations and report preparationPlan, assign and review staffs workPrimary responsibility is to prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedulesReviewing journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy REQUIREMENTS: A degree in Finance/Accounting from a reputed university and or a certified accountant. Highly detail-oriented and organizedSolid understanding of accounting principlesAbility to meet a constant stream of deadlinesProven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employeesSuperior analytical and problem-solving skillsTechnicalExcellent communication, organization and leadership skillsDetailed knowledge of MS applications, knowledge of SAP an advantageAtleast 7-8 years of hands on experience working as a Senior Accountant with a reputed organization.
