Job Description

Employment: Full Time Job Duration: Permanent Employment On behalf of our client a British Managed digital branded company that is based in Dubai we are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant. Reporting to the MD you will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures, analyzing financial reports and forecasts, verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results. Analyze financial information and summarize financial status. Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending. Provide technical support and advice on Management accounting. Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures. Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers. Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process. Provide input into departments goal setting process. Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule Assist with tax audits and tax returns. Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance Plan, assign and review staffs work. Support month-end and year-end close process. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls and manage a small team of accountants. Salary: AED 20,000 to 24,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances. REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate must be a resident of the UAE and must be degree educated with a chartered certification, have experience managing a small team and of worked in a large firm with more than 100 staff. Candidates who are fluent in all areas of Arabic are preferred for this role.
