On behalf of our client a multinational entertainment company that is based in Dubai, we are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant. Reporting to the VP you will be responsible for the understanding of weekly trading including performance analysis and variances to budget/forecast prior year, cash flow forecasting, detailed minimum 3 month rolling view. manage sales ledger ensuring invoices are accurate, agree supplier payments, be the authorized signatory with the bank, produce and submit VAT returns, verify and maintain fixed asset register, monthly payroll, assist with stock checks preparation of statutory accounts, review warehouse operations and stock reconciliation, review Dubai and KSA annual budgets, pay regular visits to warehouse facilities and site locations and other duties deemed suitable by the company Salary: AED 15,000 to 30,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances. REQUIREMENTS: The suitable candidate must be a resident of the UAE, be degree educated in accounting with a chartered certification, have a minimum of 5 years UAE experience preferably within a multinational trading company and be happy with occasional travel. Knowledge of warehouse operations would also be advantageous.
