Atkins Nuclear, now part of the SNC-Lavalin nuclear division has been operating for over 40 years with operations based in the Canada, UK, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America, and are fully engaged in the development of the next generation of nuclear power.Our middle east office, centred in Abu Dhabi, has become one of the largest nuclear consultancies across the region, and at the forefront of emerging nuclear power markets.We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced project manager to join our Abu Dhabi based HQ to help us manage the internal and external transactions of delivering work to our key client.Responsibilities:- Owning the production of clear proposals in-line with our internal commercial processes, and utilising the experience of the broader group where needed- Establishing the front-end set up projects, including quality plans, project schedules and other key project documentation- Proactively managing delivery of work to our client(s), with regular face to face communication (this will often be at the client site). Delivery will most likely include management of overseas delivery from our technical teams from Canada, the UK and the US.- Responsible for project delivery, profitability, cashflow and close-out.- Providing technical input to the projects where skill-sets match REQUIREMENTS: Essential Criteria:- Degree qualified in a scientific or engineering field- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills to deal with people at all levels- Experience prioritising a varied and busy workload and with the use of own initiative at all times- Fluent written and spoken English- At least 7 years commercial and/or project management experience in a consultancy environment- Preference will be given to those with nuclear experienceRewards & Benefits:We offer an excellent package which includes:- A competitive salary- Transportation allowance- Medical and life insurance cover- Annual leave- Medical and life insurance cover- Company gratuity scheme- Discretionary bonus scheme- Annual flight allowance to point of origin- Employee Assistance Programme - 24 hour free advice on financial, legal and family care specialists and also access to personal health, fitness and nutrition consultants
