Employment: Full Time Job Duration: Permanent Employment The prime function and basic objective of this position is to provide high level oversight for the development and continuous improvement of program and project management offices. The function of the program manager is separate and distinct from the function of the project manager, however in some cases the same individual will serve in both capacities. Program manager manages multiple projects and sometimes multiple programs while a project manager manages the teams responsible for fulfilling the project and achieving its deliverables.Duties And Responsibilities:The Program Manager will ensure the Program Management requirements are met and they will interact with each project manager to provide support and guidance on individual projects, including:Conveying the important relationship of each project to the overall program and organizational performance objectivesWorking to ensure that the overall program structure and program management processes enable the program and its component teams to successfully complete their work and to integrate the components deliverables into the programs end products, services, results, and benefitsWorking to ensure that projects are organized and executed in a consistent manner and fulfilled within established standardsResolving resource constraints and / or conflicts that affect multiple projects within a programAligning organizational / strategic direction that affects project and program goals and objectives; andResolving issues and change management within a shared governance structureResponsibilities:Program integration.Program scope management.Program time management.Program cost management.Program quality managementProgram Human Resource ManagementProgram Communication ManagementProgram Risk ManagementDesign of new reportsFacilitate continuity and standardization across departmentsBuild and manage program teamsServe as a point of contact for critical program requirementsEnsure program delivery following Charter and Execution Plan REQUIREMENTS: Education Professional Certifications:Bachelors degree; Engineering, Construction Management, Advance degree preferredPMP RequiredExperience:Years of Experience: 10+Description of Professional Experience: 10+ years of project management experience for engineering and construction projects including knowledge of construction methods, practices, procedures and contracts. Gas, Electrical and Steam Utility experience preferredTechnical Skills:Proficiency in software especially in Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, software Estimating, Oracle BI, Oracle EBS and MS Office Suite.Strong understanding of electric and gas utility business.Non Technical Skills:Problem Solving / Analytics AdvancedWritten & Verbal communication AdvancedStakeholder Management AdvancedInterpersonal Skills AdvancedLeadership Skills- Advanced
