Employment: Full Time About the role:Our game studio is looking for a Principal Artist with out of this world talent and a healthy dose of character, environment development and storytelling experience.Essential Job Functions:Work closely and collaborate with Game Team and Art Manager to create appealing characters and environments, UI graphics and marketing pop ups. Iterate from concept phase to final polished assets including storyboards for animations and vfx.Work quickly at times for unexpected deadlines and must be a team player.Maintain asset libraries and texture atlases with a high level of proficiency and organizationCreate ancillary graphic design work including branding/logos, typography, and marketing materials.Create artwork to replace older features in an existing live gameMentor others and give constructive feedbackLooking for exceptional illustration skills with a strong sense of design including typography. Salary: AED 15,000 to 16,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances. REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications:Education: Bachelors degree in Art, Graphic Design, or Game Development or equivalent experience.Required Experience:3+ years of experience producing high quality graphics on mobile apps or webShipped mobile apps or game products preferably in the free to play spaceFundamental art skills and strong aesthetic sense and color theoryAdobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)Bonus Points (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities).Animated Feature film styled concept art and strong storytelling.2D animation software: spine, live2d, dragonbones ext.Knowledge of Cocos Creator. is a plus but not required.Helpful Traits:Knowledge of asset version control tools such as SVN, GIT, Perforce or JIRAExperience in social game productionExperience in SCRUM/Agile productionKnowledge of Cocos CreatorAll applicants MUST provide the following in the event of an interview:Portfolio (website or blog required for pre-interview)Applying Deadline: 17/11/2020
