As an Outlets Manager, your leadership and passion for guest service will drive outstanding operating results and ensure your Outlets is both a preferred dining destination and workplace.Hotel Overview:Ideally situated on the Arabian Gulf in Ajman, UAE, the newly built Fairmont Ajman has opened in May 2015. The hotel is in close proximity to both Sharjah and Dubai airports. The hotel features 252 guestrooms and suites, including two luxurious penthouse offerings, a multitude of dining options and fitness facilities. The beachfront location offers guests a wide range of leisure activities including water sports and diving as well as access to shopping and cultural excursions. Event planners can take advantage of 2,000 square meters of indoor function space as well as outdoor facilities.Summary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Director of F&B, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceLead and manage the F&B Outlet team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followedHandle guest concerns and react quickly and professionallyTo assist in the recruitment and training of F&B ColleaguesBalance operational, administrative and Colleague needsConduct regularly scheduled departmental meetingsMaximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotionsHave full knowledge of all Outlet menusManage the departmental budgetFollow outlet policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverageOther duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications:Previous Food and Beverage leadership experience requiredPrevious Point of Sale System experience requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications requiredUniversity/College degree in a related discipline preferredExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesVisa REQUIREMENTS: Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Ajman.
