28/28 rotationOn behalf of our client a Dubai based oil and gas operator we are looking to recruit an Offshore Electrical Technician. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor you will be responsible for carrying out fault finding, minor repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of Low Voltage, High Voltage electrical equipment and associated switchgear on the assigned production platform and remote well head platforms. Identify requirements for major repair, replacement and or workshop reconditioning work and update preventative maintenance records for work done REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate must hold a diploma or equivalent in electrical, have 4-5 yeaqrs varied installation maintenance and repair eperience in a power generation and distribution environent ideally within a major oil and gas operator, basic knowledge in PLC and variable speed drives, experience with diesel generators and good knowledge of written and spoken English
