Dragon Recruiting has a fantastic opportunity for (position) to work with one of the prestigious healthcare organization in UAE.Dragon Recruiting is an International Recruitment and HR Consultants with two corporate offices in London and Dubai and over 50 representative offices across 8 regions of the world.SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for evaluating patients referred to occupational therapy, organizing and implementing individualized therapeutic programs with patients and families and observing and recording patient progress and response to treatment.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms an evaluation on each patient to determine appropriate problems to be addressedReviews patient chart for pertinent medical history, including test results and x-ray reportsAnalyzes and interprets patients needs, based on medical history, x-rays, tests, and evaluationEstablishes treatment goals and formulates a treatment plan based on the patient evaluationAdministers treatment program and uses skilled techniques to provide treatmentMonitors patients medical status reviews and revises treatment plans as necessary as treatment plan progressesDirects and supervises the activities of support personnel and maintains responsibility for all aspects of patient careEducates patients and their families about the patients functional status, appropriate preventative and therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment and modalities for post-discharge careDocuments required and pertinent information in patients medical recordReviews and co-signs progress notes written by occupational therapy assistantsParticipates in the multi-disciplinary management of patients, ensures coordination of treatment goals and discharge planningCompletes required department forms accurately and in a timely mannerParticipates in the supervision of students assigned to clinical rotation and/or staff development programsBENEFITSExcellent benefits as per company policyEDUCATION REQUIREMENTSMinimum of two (2) years post-graduate experience as an Occupational Therapist in relevant experience with patients with the same diagnosis seen in acute care hospitals or rehabilitation facilities is requiredSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS- Ability to speak and write in English is required - Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred REQUIREMENTS: - DHA/ HAAD - Knowledge of principles, methods and procedures for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of physical dysfunctionsSUMMARY DESCRIPTION: This position is responsible for evaluating patients referred to occupational therapy, organizing and implementing individualized therapeutic programs with patients and families and observing and recording patient progress and response to treatment.
