Make a difference every dayThe Job OpportunityThe key purpose of the role is to carry out allocated planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and remedial repairs on building services mechanical engineering systems and associated equipment.Key accountabilities- Carry out servicing plans, monitor, maintain, rectify and/or repair mechanical systems and services and update records on a daily basis. - Identify and assist with the procurement of materials and/or the fabrication of components and ensure repairs are carried out to approve standards. - Assist in monitoring utilities for collation of consumption figures, and update records as required. - Carry out the planned and reactive maintenance both internally and externally to the propertys mechanical services and equipment such as cooling systems, potable water systems, hot water systems and equipment, pumps, actuators, pipework, valves, control systems drainage, fuel oil or gas etc. REQUIREMENTS: What we are looking for in our candidates- Must have a min 5 years experience working on and maintaining 200HP / 150KW motors and pumps - Must have experience of working on split case pumps - Must have in depth knowledge of all parts of the motor / pump assembly - Must have personal experience of conducting overhaul / refurbishment maintenance on large motors / pumps - Must have experience of mechanical and electrical trouble shooting - Understand header / static pressure within a closed loop water system - Must be able to lead a team of technicians to conduct PPMs, corrective maintenance works and breakdown repairs - Must have a good working knowledge of Water Cooled Chillers, Air Cooled Chillers and Cooling Towers Specific requirements- Ideally a holder of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant Vocational training certificates of Mechanical building services. - At least a holder of High School Diploma. - Typical physical demands include: high mobility to inspect all facilities in a high heat stress environment. - High degree of manual dexterity to sufficiently perform computer functions on a keyboard, produce materials on a PC and operate basic office equipment. - Normal or corrected vision and hearing, extensive sitting, mobility sufficient to visit with departments or employees throughout the facility and lift up to 14 kgs.
