Employment: Full Time Mechanical Technician (Maintenance) - Abu DhabiQuest Search & Selection are proud to be partnering with a very well-known consumer goods manufacturing company who is looking for a Mechanical Technician to be based in Abu Dhabi.Responsibilities of this Mechanical Technician position include -* Execute maintenance and production tasks according to schedule.* Complete job cards as required, record task duration.* Report all incidents and problems to his team leader or production manager.* Responsible for his/her own workmanship quality.* Clean and maintain an organized work area.* Support the engineering department with all mechanical tasks if and when required.* Manage and organize his/her tools as well as standard workshop tools and equipment.* Report defective equipment to the team leader, foreman or production manager.* Support QA to maintain the required quality standards.* Perform mechanical QC corrective action tasks if and when required. REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in this position you must have the following -* Bachelors or Diploma degree in mechanical or relevant subject is preferable.* At least 2-5 years experience in an industrial environment in a mechanical maintenance role.* Currently or previously working in a tissue manufacturing facility (not converting).If you feel that you can add value to this role, please apply to this role with your CV as soon as possible as we are aiming to set up interviews within the next 7 days.We request that candidates send their CV as a Microsoft Word document where possible.Quest Search and Selection is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
