Job StatementIn the field relevant of Mechanical Engineering, provide leadership in Academic standards, qualifications and curriculum development, improvement and implementation, providing support to the Institutes in the delivery of Mechanical and Manufacturing related vocational qualifications and curriculum.Job SpecificationEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with the Institutes and other stakeholders, internal and external, to promote quality curricular outcomes in subject related areas of responsibilityWork with the Institute teams and others with responsibility for teaching, learning and assessment in the designated subject area to ensure consistency of high quality curricular outcomes across the InstitutesFacilitate the design, development and secure storage of all curriculum documentation and advise on the development of all teaching resources, materials and assessment for designated subject related areasWork with the National Qualifications Authority in the implementation of the UAE Qualifications Framework Emirates and NQA Qualifications development and review of designated subject related fieldsContribute to and implement all strategy, policy and procedures related to curriculum and academic standards to facilitate compliance and excellence in all vocational deliveryIdentify and champion models of best practice, innovation and the use of advanced technology in teaching, learning and assessment of designated subject related curriculumEvaluate current best practices and policy in education, curriculum design and development, learning, teaching and assessment ensuring all curriculum is current and reflects Industry requirementsLiaise proactively with Curriculum Specialist team to support a holistic approach to curriculum development, implementation, delivery and enhancementSupport employer engagement and the Business Develop Unit to design and develop Industry training programs and Commercial projectsDevelop training resources to support the delivery of professional development sessions and deliver sessions as required to enhance the quality of teaching, learning and assessmentCarry out administrative tasks and lead on special projects as REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor Degree in Mechanical EngineeringPreferably Post Graduate or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or EducationTeaching Qualification - Post Graduation Certificate or Diploma in Teaching or Education - QF Emirates Level 7, 8 or 9Assessor and Internal Verifier qualificationsExperience Required5 year experience in learning, teaching and assessment delivery of subject related qualifications and curriculumExperience of vocational curriculum, materials and assessment design and developmentGood knowledge of LMS to support the learning and assessment processTechnical Writing skillsIn return you will receive the following package:Basic Salary: AED 17,802/- (3,901)Housing Allowance: AED 10,400/- (Single) (2,279) and 13,000/- (Married) (2,849)Educational Allowance, Ticket Allowance, Relocation Allowance and Medical InsuranceAlderwood acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers and is part of Gattaca Plc.Gattaca Plc provides support services to Alderwood and may assist with processing your application.
