A global IT solutions and software provider are seeking a License Controller/ Administrator to join their team in Dubai. Joining a SME sized regional office, there is a strong sense of work ethic and client focus to ensure the procurement, installation and ongoing maintenance of the software they provide to their clients is second to none.The role of the License Controller/ Administrator is to ensure you are the first point of contact for all clients in coordination of the flow of the license information including additional requirements, cancellations, new applications and transfers. Being totally client centric you will provide a speedy response to all queries in order to ensure seamless software access.Part of this role will also encompass some IT knowledge in terms of ensuring that the correct technical configurations are set, proper access rights are given, segregation of duties and access according to client instruction and installation, sustainability and troubleshooting of the network infrastructure systems. When handling new clients, it is your responsibility to ensure all relevant documentation is in place in terms of Intellectual Property, license agreements, trade licenses and VAT registrations. Following on from this you will also perform regular debtor and accounts receivable checks, chase up any outstanding payments and limit or exclude software access on the occasions when payments have not been made on time. There are also some ad hoc general office administration tasks to perform to assist the overall team when required. REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in this role you must possess at least 1-2 years experience in a similar software administration capacity, with strong client management and communication skills across all levels of seniority. Exposure to software such as Candy and Buildsmart is a distinct advantage as is knowledge of accounts receivable in order to ensure payment schedule are timely. You should be a dedicated and approachable individual, able to manage several competing deadlines both technical and non-technical and be able to coordinate both functions effortlessly.
