Employment: Full Time The CompanyOur client is a giant MNC, listed in Europe. We are currently working with them on an exclusive basis to recruit a Lead Internal Auditor to be based in Dubai. This is a new position and is very urgent.Job Purpose and candidate* Take responsibility for the delivery of financial audit projects in the MENA region.* Please note travel commitments could be up to 70% depending on business requirements.* The successful candidate will already be based in Dubai, have strong internal financial audit experience, be a Chartered/Qualified Accountant and preferably have some previous Big 4 experience.Dimensions* Undertake the planning and preparation for individual strategic projects incorporated within the annual audit plan.* Undertake and manage strategic, financial or non-financial projects across the Group providing analysis from financial and non-financial information, in order to confirm the effectiveness of controls and efficiency of the processes under consideration.* Undertake detailed analysis and testing of internal controls to determine adequacy of design and also compliance with our policies and procedures.* Perform analysis across all aspects of Group and Commercial Business Unit performance, identifying the key business issues and potential root cause solutions.* Identify areas of improvement and efficiencies with the delivery of internal audit or facilitation of the risk management framework promoting positive changes to ensure business process improvement.* Undertake specific investigations or projects across the Group as and when required.* Support the follow up process of internal audit recommendations to ensure effective and complete implementation of agreed actions.* Support the annual strategic internal audit planning process and to finalize the annual internal audit plan.* Support the ongoing development of the Group Internal Audit function assuming responsibility and accountability for key elements of strategy development, implementation, and its running.* Support local teams in raising awareness and understanding of our policies, procedures and systems providing training or coaching where required.* Assume responsibility and accountability to support facilitating and embedding an effective risk management framework within the Client; and* Assume responsibility and accountability to support embedding the companys standards and policies in terms of Anti-Bribery, Corruption and Fraud. REQUIREMENTS: Experience & exposure:* Graduate level with degree in relevant subject area; and* CA/ACCA/CIMA Accountancy qualification -with a minimum of 4-5 years post-qualification experience.* Prior exposure with one of the large accounting firms is preferable.* Experience with multinational internal audit procedures, IFRS related requirements, Regulatory compliance,* Experience required in Internal audit - systems, processes, etc. and forensic audit* Risk focused, and capable of using data analytics to gain insights into transactions* Reliable when working independently, with sound judgment for when to escalate issuesSalary & Benefits* 20-25k AED per month all inclusive (medical comes on top, but no tickets). Will sponsor family with visa and medical.
