As a Junior Purchaser you will be responsible for assisting the Purchasing Manager and be instrumental as a key link between GL events entities and all our suppliers.Missions:Analyse the market, source new suppliers, and request for all their documentationProvide analysis and audit of the suppliersSetup and optimize the suppliers database (price, information on suppliers, etc.), ensure it is kept up to date and reliableIssue RFQ and RFPIssue and monitor all contracts and agreements with preferred suppliersImplement the Purchasing process in accordance with the rules and procedures in force and within the best Cost, Quality, Time Scale and Service conditionsDrive relations with the suppliers and manage potential disputesPropose cost optimization measuresObtain competitive quotations from our sub-contractors in liaison with the Sales Team. You will challenge sub-contractors pricing to improve the margin.Help the Procurement Manager in the negotiationsImprove the payment terms with the suppliers REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree in Procurement is mandatoryFluent in EnglishWritten & VerbalWestern nationals are preferredExperience in procurement is mandatory, in the UAE is preferredHighly OrganisedTeam player with excellent written and verbal communication skillsUAE basedPerfect knowledge of Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
