An international design practice has a fantastic opportunity for a talented Interior Design Director to join their team in Dubai. Someone who is passionate about design and driven by a desire to create unique, innovative, industry shaping interiors.Lead design team through all phases of interior projects including guiding, advising, and mentoring other designers on projects, developing design direction and leading design critiques/forumsAct as primary design interface with clientsPrepare with the project team documentation for tenders and constructionAssist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordinationCollaborate on interiors projects, including programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design development, and management of budgets and schedulesParticipate in business development and marketing efforts REQUIREMENTS: REQUIREMENTSBachelors/Masters Degree in Interior Design or ArchitectureMinimum of 15 years of experience in designAbility to work in a team environment with good collaboration skillsExcellent presentation abilitiesExperience directing and providing leadership for design teams from business development presentations through developing strategy and design conceptsStrong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skillsAbility to provide critical design review to design teams, communicating design ideas and direction quicklyDemonstrated success building, nurturing and fostering new client relationships
