Key tasks-The Hygiene and Audit Officer is responsible for the utmost compliance to exemplary sanitation standards, local hygiene/ environment related guidelines/certifications, is a leader of Planet 21 and ISO 14001 Clusters projects, is a forerunner of community outreach activities and mandatory associates hygiene certification.-The Hygiene and Audit Officer will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:-Practice safe working techniques and re- enforce the safety policies, guidelines, and procedures as set out by the company.-To provide in-house training for the food handlers.-To act as a Local point of contact with the DTA on hygiene related matters-To advise food handlers on the proper food handling practices and ensure their observance.-To conduct daily checks on the personal, environmental and food hygiene conditions of the food establishment and keep records on the findings.-Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standard.-Enforce proper cleaning routines for service ware, equipment, floors etc.-Enforce proper use and cleaning of all dishes as per standard.-Ensure kitchen steward is properly trained regarding sanitation, equipments handling and chemical usages. REQUIREMENTS: SkillsLevel of Education-Bachelor / Licence Areas of study Health / SocialProfessional experiences-3 to 5 yearsLanguages essential-EnglishEssential and optional requirements-Minimum two to three years work experience as Hygiene Officer in hospitality industry-Certified - kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards-HACCP-Certified Trainer-Environment Management System ISO 14001-Planet 21
