Alpha Flight Group Limited is a leading provider of innovative catering and retail services at several international airports. Alpha Flight Services UAE LLC is a dynamic food service company employing 500 employees, operating both business to business services as well as a wide range of generic branded consumer food and beverage outlets. This company is based at Sharjah International Airport.We currently have an exciting opportunity that has become available for an experienced and qualified HR Officer to join our successful business.Purpose: To support the HR department in terms of Payroll, HR System and all other general admin tasks.Responsibilities:Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and proceduresMaintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirementsMaking sure that staff get paid correctly and on timeCompensation and benefits administrationLook after HR exit formalities and EOS calculationsMonitoring staff performance and attendanceProvide counselling on policies and proceduresStaff health insurance administrationBe actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring processAssist in performance management processesSupport in the disciplinary and grievance issuesReview employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliancelooking after the health, safety and welfare of all employeesadvising line managers and other employees on employment law and the employers own employment policies and proceduresSupport the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systemsMake sure HR database is always up to dateSupport the HR Manager with creating various HR related reports on weekly and monthly basisSupport in employee engagement initiatives REQUIREMENTS: REQUIREMENTS3 years of experience as an HR Officer or similar HR roleExcellent knowledge of various HR functions such as pay & benefits, recruitment, on-boarding, evaluation, training & development etc.Good understanding of UAE labor lawProficient in MS OfficeOutstanding organisational and time-management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsGood decision-making skillsBachelors degree in human resources, business, or a related fieldAdditional HR education and certification will be a plus
