With its strikingly contemporary architecture, this beachfront business hotel offers the highest level of comfort and elegance throughout its 369 guestrooms and suites, including the ultimate exclusive lifestyle hotel experience with Fairmont Gold.Summary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceLead and manage the day-to-day operation of the department and ensure service standards are followedAddress guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper departments as requiredConduct regularly scheduled departmental meetingsManage the departmental budget in a fiscally responsible mannerOversee the recruitment and training of all Housekeeping ColleaguesBalance operational, administrative and Colleague needsFollow departmental policies and proceduresReport necessary maintenance itemsFollow all safety and sanitation policiesOther duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications:Previous leadership experience requiredComputer literate in Microsoft Window applications preferredUniversity/College degree in a related discipline an assetExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work cohesively as part of a teamAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesVisa REQUIREMENTS:Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in Abu Dhabi.
