Job Description

Our client, a home care facility based in Al Ain is currently recruiting for 10 Home Care Nurses that has an experience with patients who are in need of intensive home care.Responsibilities would include but not limited to:Responsible and accountable for the assessment of required care and the development, implementation and evaluation of holistic care for adultsPromotes a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research, evidence-based practice and the developmental of additional clinical skills in the specialty.Identifies significant changes/deterioration with patient conditions, initiates appropriate action within scope of practice and escalates concerns timely and appropriately.Is familiar with the commonly used medications within home care, including: indications, contraindications and is able to recognize side effects and reports to the Registered Nurse appropriately.Under the direction of the Registered nurse, assist in the activities of daily living for patients in accordance with the patient care plan e.g. distribution of patient meals and assisting patients with hygiene needs.Supports the prioritization of the resident/patient care based on continuous assessment of their ongoing needs.Demonstrates service excellence and advocacy to support the patient rights and dignity at all times.Can communicate effectively at all levels within the interdisciplinary team.Promotes good health and well-being through education.Works closely with families to ensure they are involved within all aspects of care where appropriate.Understands, supports and promotes the mission, vision and values of the facilityAdheres to and promotes the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Al Ain and home country REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:Bachelors degree in NursingWith valid HAAD license or at least HAAD eligibility letterWith minimum 2 years of clinical experience, preferably with home healthcare experienceShould have a knowledge in handling patients with medical and surgical conditions.Willing to work in a home healthcare facilityWilling to work 12 hours per shift or 48 hours per weekWilling to be based at the residence of the patientMust be fluent in both English and TagalogBLS certificate is an advantageICU experience is an advantageCandidates on Tourist / Visit Visa are welcome to applyReminder: When submitting your application, please include a copy of your professional photograph in the CV.
