As the Head of Strategic Planning and Partnerships, you will strategise, conceptualise, develop, plan, lead and fully execute an events program in the world of eSports. Answering the well-publicised push on e-gaming in the Middle East to develop UAE as a regional hubClient DetailsAn ambitious and well-backed organisation creating a new eSports ecosystem in Abu Dhabi consisting of world-class events.Description* Develop strategies, business plans and execute the operational plans to shape eSports into a viable new business in Abu Dhabi* Ensure that performance goals for projects are met within the strategy outlined for several individual businesses or strategic partnerships* Partner with operating companies and build trusted relationships to develop and design an ecosystem of partners to grow the business* Build a viable business from the eSports brand through a digital ecosystem and will own the P&L of the eSports business* Manage the day to day functions of the team to meet strategic goals and to provide big-picture leadership and inspiration for the teams long-term vision.Job Offer* Competitive tax-free salary* Executive, autonomous role* Opportunity to lead the development of a new, fast growing industry REQUIREMENTS: * Entrepreneurial spirit capable of leading internal and external teams, aligning people, and influencing multiple stakeholders across complex projects* Possess some knowledge of the eSports and gaming industry and or have existing professional relationships with tournament operators, production studios, and game publishers and developers* Alternatively you will have an interest in eSports and an excellent network of vendors and operators for event functions in the UAE* Experience managing and maintaining large budgets
