Employment: Full Time Quest Search and Selection is looking for candidates from the UK, who are willing to relocate to the sunny and warmer climate of Dubai! We are working with one of the largest branded and own-brand retailers in the GCC and this business looks after a number of department store/multi-product environments.This role is for their online retail brand where they are looking for a Head of Category in Beauty. This role will be looking after a team of Buyers and Merchandisers and will look after their branded, beauty products within this trend-led market.The roles and responsibilities of this Head of Category (Beauty)This role will look after the beauty category within the Dubai & KSA website.You will be in charge of the forecasting and planning/analysis for the different products and ranges.Onboarding and negotiating with new brandsPredominately selection buying where you are setting up the lines and choosing the right product volumes.Growing and developing their own-brand rangesLooking how to maximise the products online - working with the digital, design and content team to commercially optimise the range and category.Foster cross-functional team and stakeholder relationships to improve all buying, sales, and branding strategiesSource, manage, and negotiate contracts with suppliersPrepare and present budget and forecast reports and work closely with the planning departmentKeep updated with the latest seasonal trendsEnsure availability of stock and fresh assortments Salary: AED 35,000 to 40,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
