Employment: Full Time Develop a thorough knowledge of room locations, room types, rates, discounts, hotel facilities and their hours of operation, special promotions etcGo through relevant information about arrivals during shift; VIP, Regular guests, groups, etc. Room situation and functionsAssign adequate room as per reservation and request from guestPrepare key holders, with room number, rate and departure date. Explain use of elevators and room key and wish a pleasant stayEnter the guest-details in the guest profile in the computer, with any special requests when applicableHandle safe-deposit boxes in accordance with hotel proceduresFiles the registration card under the room-number in the in-house rackUpdate the Front Desk Log Book, in which all essential information and of importance to all shifts is recordedReport on complaints and/ or comments to ManagementAssist in keeping an adequate stock of forms, paper, key cards, etcReport any unusual occurrences to the Shift leader, Front Office ManagerKeep hotel information confidential REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degreePreferably Arabic or Russian SpeakerWith knowledge in OperaPreferably with experience in hospitality industry in UAEPossess good grooming standardsWith good communication skills
