A day in the lifeConnect internal Amazon stakeholders, understand business need and align 3PL accordingly.Daily Stand up meeting with the direct team, reviewing past day performance and plan for the day.Review 3pL performance in daily deep dive/Gemba meeting with them.1:1 with the direct team and manager at set frequency.Work on key initiatives impacting cost, productivity, quality etcTrack and monitor key metrics for the site.Help the team to achieve them or highlight if there is any support needed.Understand 3PL issues and help them resolve the issue.About the teamAMXL network primarily deals with anything that is heavy/bulky or anything that needs post delivery experience.We operate in all 3 countries(EGY, KSA and UAE) through 3PL partners.Basic QualificationsBachelors degree in Operations, Engineering or Logistics (operational Black Belts welcome)1-2 years of work experience.Previous experience in a similar process development role, ideally in fast-paced industrial, logistics or production/manufacturing environmentIn depth experience of Distribution and Fulfillment processesExcellent Project Management skillsDemonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with business partners and key stakeholders and the ability to work under pressure in a cross functional organizationExpertise in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other OE toolsAdvanced data analysis skills and an expert in using supporting tools e.g. Minitab, JMP, MS Excel, MS AccessAbility to modify dashboard/queries and write sql queries on an adhoc basisPreferred QualificationsPrior background working on Tech projects to optimize operations, improve customer experience and drive cost reduction initiatives.Certified OE Black Belt or Green Belt SQL and excel based macro
