A global engineering company is seeking a Temporary Accountant to assist the Financial Controller with all year end accounts. Therefore, this vacancy is only suitable for candidates on their spouse or family sponsorship and those available for the next 2 months, including the festive and New Year period.The Temporary Accountant will be involved in all aspects of finance, including system entries and updates, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, invoice management and presenting reports and graphs in Excel to the Management team. You will be responsible for all day to day transactions and as such you will present high attention to detail and require minimal hand holding and guidance. This will enable the Finance Controller to concentrate on the bigger tasks for year end and the pending external audit. You will ensure 100% accuracy and that all timely deadlines are met. On occasion you will also liaise with the external audit team to ensure all procedures are followed and to support them with any accounts preparation. REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in this role you should hold a Financial qualification and a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar finance role. Those currently holding a valid spouse or family visa will be considered for this temporary vacancy.
