Our client, a well-known organization in Dubai, is looking for a General Accountant. This person will directly report to the Finance Manager.Accountant Responsibilities:Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessaryAnalyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysisImprove systems and procedures and initiate corrective action.Accounts Payable function.Oversee taxes and abide by federal regulations REQUIREMENTS: To be considered, the following criteria must be met:Qualified chartered accountant (ACCA, CA)At least 3 years audit experience with Big 4 [KPMG, Ernst & Young, Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC)]Must have worked as Audit Senior/Assistant Manager for at least 1 yearExcellent written and verbal skillsNotice period of 1 month or can join immediatelyCandidate must be based in the UAE or on Visit VisaJob stability Minimum 2 years in each employment
