The FD will be responsible for all accounting, finance, audit and strategic functions across the group, identifying key business opportunities and providing key financial information across the group.Client DetailsA multinational European transportation group.DescriptionThe Finance Director will be responsible for:* Financial planning and analysis across the group for the middle east region* Day to day management of the accounting and finance team* Lead the budget and forecast process* Overseeing the pricing and cost accounting teams* Manage external relationships with banks, audit firms etc* Continually review budgets throughout the year, company cash position and rolling forecast* Manage the internal audit and control functionJob OfferCompetitive package depending on experience REQUIREMENTS: The Finance Director must hold the following background and qualifications:* Recognised professional accounting qualification* MBA* Have led an ERP implementation* A good understanding of commercial finance, pricing and cost accounting* Have previously worked within a logistics, transportation or shipping organisation
