Employment: Full Time osition Title:Fiber Optic TechnicianEmployment Type:Full timeSalary:up to 4,500 AED depending on experience and qualifications plus transportationJob Location:Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAEAbout the client:The hiring company is a Dubai based telecommunications company that provides cabling, systems integration, and maintenance services across all the EmiratesJob Role:Ability to fusion or mechanical splice SM or MM fiber optic cables, also to terminate various types of fiber optic connectors (ST, SC, LC)Work with engineers and/or ISP&OSP Project Managers to perform splicing as directedInstallation and testing of pressurized and non-pressurized closures on all types and sizes of cableDevelop standards and specifications for splice drawings and prepare drawings per the specificationsExperience and knowledge using Fiber Optic Scope and or a Fiber OTDRInstallation and dressing of fiber optic cables (vertical/horizontal)Organize splicing as-builds files utilizing software packages for in-house fiber cable inventory and route designsCommunicate with Project Manager and Team Leader on workload status in order to meet designated goalsMaintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic that can provide high productivity with minimal supervision REQUIREMENTS: REQUIREMENTS:Open to Any nationals; preferably FilipinoMale, 40 years old and belowDiploma in Electronics or Telecommunication or any related coursesAt least 2 years of experience as Fiber Optic Technician or related roleMust have a valid UAE drivers licenseHas knowledge of Du network and backbone Fiber cablesExcellent communication skillsMust be able to work independently without supervisionAble to perform splicing on a live Fiber cablesCandidate that can join immediately will be prioritizedExperience in preparation/splicing of Joint enclosures/Torpedoes
