At LEGOLAND we make every child a HERO!Play Your Part:In this role you will be responsible to:Oversee and coordinate the overall efforts of the direct food and beverage team of supervisors, team leaders and assistant.Support the Head of F&B in delivering the highest levels of guest service and food quality in a clean and safe environment while following the LEGOLAND Dubai and Dubai Municipality guidelines.Responsible for operational effectiveness, staff development and cost controls within the assigned outlets, while achieving and exceeding set EBITDA and KPI targets.Support within the daily operation of the unit through front and back of house duties and provides on the job training and team development.Has full responsibility for food quality, menu development, guest service, cash handling, team engagement and financial controls.Participate in on the job training to ensure that staff members consistently achieve the high standards expected by LEGOLAND Dubai.Ensure that all sanitation and safety procedures are implemented and maintained.Main Duties:Food Service Operations:Manages and coordinates the operational effectiveness of all assigned food locations.Implements and enhances high level of service, quality, productivity and sanitation standards within all facilities.Ensures that all guests are served in an efficient and friendly manner.Spends time daily in each facility to provide corrective and positive feedback for improving operations.Communicates daily operational and financial objectives to the staff daily.Training and Development:Responsible for motivating, training, cross-training and developing the supervisors, team leaders and staff. Gives input on promotions and transfers.Provides positive and corrective feedback to all staff to improve performance output.Operational Support:Responsible for the weekly scheduling of all supervisors, team leaders and staff.Monitors labor hours and ensures that payroll reports are accurate.Responsible for daily ordering and receiving of food and supplies.Monitors handling of cash and inventory by supervisors, team leaders and staff and investigates any issues.Human Resources:Implements and enforces all company and divisional policies and procedures.Gives input and administers progressive exemplary and disciplinary action for performance and policy regulations.Financial Operations:Responsible for maximizing revenue and per capita spending goals within their area.Monitors cost controls in the areas of labor, food costs, other direct expenses, and safety liability, keeping within budget.Provides input for annual budget on a yearly basis if needed.Requests purchases for small wares and other direct expense purchases.Safety and Sanitation:Ensures that all supervisors, team leaders and staff are trained and execute proper safety and sanitation requirements always.Oversees that all staff are knowledgeable and follow required company, division, local, and HACCP guidelines.Maintenance and Physical Plant:Responsible for the initiating and follow-up of all maintenance and sanitation issues to ensure all facilities are maintained in and excellent and presentable working condition.Also acts as a contact for concerns regarding guests, operations, food supplies, and maintenance issues, as well as a divisional contact for the park in operational concerns and emergency situations.Health & Safety:Managers/Supervisors are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their department, in line with the Group Policy (HS001).They must ensure that risk assessments have been carried out, that safe working procedures are in place for all work activities and that all employees under their management are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it.They must ensure that safe working practices are monitored, and that risk assessments and procedures are reviewed regularly.Where incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that where necessary, corrective action is taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated REQUIREMENTS: Are You a StarIn order to be qualified for this role you should possess the below criteria:A Secondary education (or equivalent education and experience) is required. A college degree is preferredAt least 3 years of practical food service leadership experience, preferably in a themed environment. Must be customer-service focused and understand customer expectations. Knowledge in food and culinary design is desired. Must possess strong communication skills, both in a verbal and written format. Effective organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions required. Ability to work as part of a team and to develop others within the team structure requiredJob-Specific Skills:Advanced communication skills, written and verbal required.
