To manage RICS involvement in events and exhibitions across the MEA region, working closely with the Director of Communication & External Affairs, and individual country, and product managers; the role will be responsible for identifying speaking opportunities at industry events, managing barter agreements and creating a programme of events to raise RICS profile across the region.Develop and manage a schedule of regional events that reflect our corporate objectivesSupport the delivery and promotion of RICS flagship WBEF events/summits in MEA regionIdentify opportunities for partnership with other professional bodies and other establishments and manage these relationshipsCoordination of speaking requirements, presentations and event logisticsIdentify opportunities for barter agreements at industry events and managing deliverablesProduce high-quality supporting material and collateral that fit the RICS brand in terms of look and feel, and tone of voice REQUIREMENTS: Ability to self-manage and self-motivate in a High Challenge, High Support environment.Communications: Confident and diplomatic communicator with an excellent grasp of English (written and spoken). Arabic speaking and writing skills are desirable but not essential.Highly IT literate (MS Word, PowerPoint & Excel)Experience of Content Management Systems, CRM and Email Marketing DatabasesStrong organisational and multi-tasking skillsGood problem-solving ability, creativity, drive and entrepreneurial spiritExperience of organising and running eventsAbility to work on own initiative and good team playerWilling and able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business within the region, as and when requiredAttention to detail
