Position Overview:Events Coordinator is dedicated to creating awesome experiences for birthday celebrants, their families and guests. Events Coordinator will provide support with all the organizational processes related to birthday parties and other Events held at OliOli. Some of the main responsibilities are introducing customers to the offers, providing the necessary information and guidance, coordinating logistics and supervising execution on the day of the event. Role requires working closely with team members across different departments, including Imaginators, Gallery Attendants, Reception team, caf staff, security, housekeeping etc. Events Coordinator works under supervision of the Events Manager following the set objectives and implementing OliOli Rules and Policies.Your key duties and responsibilities will include:- Responsible for smooth operational running of all types of special events at OliOli- Provide clear directions and lead team members facilitating event- Resolve customer concerns and problem situations.- Attending phone/ e-mail and in-person inquiries- Providing an excellent and consistent level of service to your guests.- Thinking fast and and creatively addressing non-standard scenarios, last minute changes or special customer requests.- Working towards goals and independently completes assigned tasks.- Providing safe environment for all guests.- Responsible for safety of facility and reports necessary repairs or changes needed- Assisting visitors in case of an incident or an emergency situation Salary: AED 5,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances. REQUIREMENTS: Required Qualifications/Experience:-Strong customer service skills while attending phone/ email and inperson inquiries-Experienced working in fast paced high volume environment.-Able to clearly communicate all the relevant information about OliOli offerings, rules and policies.-Critical thinking and good common sense while planning, coordinating and executing the event.-Ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations.-Able to interact positively with kids, adults and large groups.-IT literate. Proficient user of Microsoft Office, all types of spreadsheets, Internet, Email and phone.-Has great interpersonal skills. Interacts with colleagues and customers in polite, respectful and professional manner.-Patient and empathetic dealing with different types of customer requests.-Pays attention to details in all aspects related to the customer inquiry, preparations and execution of event.-Ability to be persuasive, when negotiating event details.-Excellent grasp of EnglishPreferences:-College degree or higher education-Education in Event management-Multilingual-Experience in sales related roleGeneral REQUIREMENTS & Physical Demands:-Be an ambassador for the OliOli brand; ensure that every visitors experience at OliOli meets or exceeds expectations, specifically through inclusive, culturally appropriate, positive and memorable interactions with a friendly and sincere approach-Contribute to a positive, team based, work culture-Collect and communicate visitors feedback and suggestions-The noise level in the work environment is highly variable, from quiet to loud-The working timings include morning and/or evening shifts.
