Job Description

Observe and implement the company Quality, Health & Safety Policy.Follow rules and regulations for an effective realization of the Quality and Company Objectives. Understand the objectives and targets set for the year.Observe and implement the company Safety Procedures.Ensure the usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), wherever it is required.Reviewing tender documents related to estimation & costing and resolving anomalies, if any and forwarding the documents to Senior Estimation Surveyor for Estimation and Costing purpose.To price selected enquiries issued by the Commercial Manager.To guide, check and follow up the work progress in estimation department to confirm the compliance of quotation and submission in given time limit.Attending Tender Committee meeting, project takeover meeting.Obtaining Technical proposals, ensuring that estimation checklist is maintained.Reviewing Estimates before preparation of quotationReview exclusions and qualifications.Checking of quotation before sending to the customer and final signature on the Quotation in case of Commercial Manager is absent and emergency submission takes place.Reviewing the Letter of Intent against the latest Quotation, making sure that all the exclusions and qualifications are agreed, no anomalies against the Quotation and signing the Letter of Intent.Briefing in the kick-off meeting about the project scope of works and providing a copy of job file, Post tender general information sheet and approximate materials list to all the attendees.Responsible for resolving the technical queries arising from different departments.Liaising with the Production Planning Department for submission of samples to the customer.Prepare Annual Performance Appraisal of the department employees to identify the training needs.Review and identify the need for human resources within the department.To ensure that corrective and preventative actions are made to overcome any NCR raised against the department and to monitor the preventative actions.To establish the objectives of his department in increasing the efficiency of the department.ISO 9001:2008, ISO14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007 Standard.Requirement, SOP and involve in implementation.Maintain proper documentation as per the requirement of Quality Management System.Occasionally discuss with Commercial Manager when an opportunity of improving the accuracy of procedure/process is observed.Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by Commercial Manager for accomplishing the objectives of the company. REQUIREMENTS: Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of working experience as estimator in the facade industry in the UAEMust be an civil engineering degree holder.Should be excellent in MS office package ( Esp. MS Excel, Word)Having practical knowledge of the ERP Software is an added advantageAny Nationalities
