On behalf of our client a leading UAE oil and gas company we are looking to recruit a Drilling Engineering Manager-Well Operations. Reporting to the Well Operations Manager you will be responsible for well design, planning, scheduling, drilling engineering, standardisation, well integrity, quality assurance, engineering performance management and engineering career development. You will be accountable for taking the lead role in the management change process as and when the daily operations dictate changes in the programmes are required. You will also be responsible for engineering drilling solutions on a well by well basis to ensure well delivery is optimised for the well objectives REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate must be degree educated in Mechanical Engineering, hold a valid IWCF and H2S Alive/HUET or comparable certificate. Have a minimum of 15 years experience working for a major international drilling contractor and or operating company, 15 years experience as a Drilling Engineer with supervisory responsibility for engineering planning, working as a Drilling Supervisor on a drilling rig and well service operations is an advantage, experience working offshore involving sour gas/condensate wells, drilling high pressure/High temperature exploration wells ( Both on and offshore) and drilling unbalanced hole sections ( Drill pipe and Coil Tubing Unit)
