Employment: Full Time General Objective:Developing the performance of Archeology Department management and working on proper planning to protect and preserve the monuments.Supervisory Responsibilities:Preparing an operational plan to develop the departments performancePreparing periodic reports on the departments accomplishments, cosmetic suggestions for developing performance therein, and presenting them to the general managerUpdating the policies and procedures related to the Archeology DepartmentUpdating and organizing records and statistics related to the Archeology DepartmentPlanning for exploration, restoration and surveysMonitor employee performance and set and review their career goalsTechnical Responsibilities:Project management for developing archaeological sitesSupervising the archaeological excavations and surveys in the EmirateChecking and reviewing the documentation of monumental and historical buildingsSupervising restoration operationsPreparing researches and studies on archaeological sites, excavations, archaeological surveys and RestorationSupervising the process of concluding contracts with experts and the competent authorities for excavations requirements and archaeological surveysParticipating in seminars and conferences inside and outside the EmirateSupervising the conclusion of agreements with universities regarding the archaeological field REQUIREMENTS: Academic Qualifications and Experience:Master Degree in ArchaeologyWith minimum 10 years experience in general Archaeology knowledge and 8 years of Specialized/ Relevant experienceSpecial Skills:Archeological skillsRestoration skillsResearch writing skillsProject management skillsCollecting, analyzing and interpreting data skillsExamining, documenting and preserving artefacts skills
