A renowned marketing and communications company globally is looking to hire for a Technology Manager for their Dubai office. As Manager of Technology, youll shepherd projects through their lifecycles. Youll help lead a cross-functional team that includes marketing, strategy, planning, creative and project management, educating the group at large on Technology tactics and the business impact.Responsibilities:Ability to conceptualize, understand, integrate Enterprise level architectureAbility to effectively integrate CRM & Marketing automation technologies into enterprise-level architectureAccurately estimating hours and project time needs, and actively participating in scope definitionAbility to configure software from vendors such as Salesforce, Oracle, Adobe & MicrosoftCreating and maintaining functional and technical requirementsProactively identifying and resolving technical issues with your teamIdentifying and evaluating 3rd party vendorsDeveloping client team leadership for complex and/or multiple projectsCollaborating across functions to develop project concepts and define scope, budgets, and timelinesDetermining daily project status and manage client expectationsWorking closely with QA to manage the quality assurance processProviding technology insights, recommendations, and solutions to clientsDeveloping direct reports through thoughtful and timely performance reviews and development plans REQUIREMENTS: A four-year degree (Computer Science or equivalent preferred)4 to 6 years of web programming, management or comparable experience and 1 to 3 years of experience managing technical or operational teams (preferably at a creative/digital agency)Project Management Certification (preferred)Native in HTML, CSS, JAVA, APEX, AMPscript, SQL, API management, Big Data, Xaas, IoT, CloudProven track record as a technical leaderDeep familiarity with the digital environmentStrong understanding of business and technical processes to enable smart technology solutionsExcellent written and verbal skillsCollaboration, flexibility and the ability to operate effectively even in ambiguous circumstancesComplete knowledge of QA processes and conventionsKnowledge of project management methodologies, e.g., Scrum and WaterfallAbility to identify and communicate project and team risks to senior team members and/or leadershipSkill in breaking down larger efforts into digestible tasks for other team membersWillingness to travel as needed youre open to new places, new faces, and new ideas
