Employment: Full Time sReports to : Chief of Medical StaffDuties and responsibilities:- Establish and maintain professional standards for quality patient care.- Perform investigations and management of patients with surgical related problems.- May interpret x-rays and other radiological diagnostic tests.- Responsible for the smooth running of the assigned clinic.- Record all data of the patients care in the patients medical record in accordance with the acceptable international standards and Hospitals regulations.- May represent the Hospital in the Committee for General Surgery related seminars and symposia.- Actively participates in any training program or education activity related to General Surgery and organized within the Hospital for training staff and in-service training classes for the nursing staff.- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.Condition:- This job description is subject to periodic review and may be changed at anytime in consultation with the employee. REQUIREMENTS: Department:- Qualification Graduate from a recognized medical school with a MBBS or its international equivalent.- Western certificates such as American Board, Canadian, UK Membership/Fellowship or its equivalent.- Experience Minimum five (5) years related experience after post graduationSpecialized Knowledge:- Knowledge of English is essential- Knowledge of Arabic is desirable.
