Position Title: Construction EngineerEmployment Type: Full TimeSalary: all-inclusive depending on experience and qualificationsJob Location: UAEAbout the Client:A leading oil and gas company in UAEInstallation & commissioning of Well head Piping fabrication, testing and painting, Modular skid for surface facilities E&I systems, Pipeline, fabrication, laying and road crossings including CP system, Civil foundations for equipment and well head piping works.Responsible for timely completion of all construction, Installation, testing, commissioning and development of well site and surface facilities and overall safety compliance of the construction site and activitiesManage work fronts and Contractor activities at site, including heavy lifts and package assemblyLead and conduct TRAs and regular site visit and ensure company Control of Works (COW) procedure and other HSE requirements are implemented at all project sitesOverview and control of the Contractors issued PTWs. Review and Approve Construction Work Packs and Execution PlansCoordinate with the Project SPA, Engineering, Operations and HSE teams to resolve site issuesReview engineering drawings for constructability and perform inspection of construction and fabrication activities at site for conformance to AFC drawings and relevant specificationsManage revision control of AFC documents issued to contractorsLead the QA/QC activities and Supervise the QA/QC inspectors (Civil and mechanical)Verification and endorsement of Contractors claimed progress and coordinate with operations for permits, tiein schedule, precommissioning and commissioning activitiesProvide regular updates to Project SPA and assist with Construction input to projectLead weekly and monthly progress meetings with contractors at site and manage all Company Contractors and their work fronts at siteAct as SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for Construction Contractors at all project sites and review/ endorse the Variation Orders issued by Construction SubContractorsQualifications:Male; 45 y/o and belowBachelors Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 10 years experience in the Oil and Gas industryMust have experience in compressor packages installation, plant piping works, civil works and laying of pipelinesCandidates who can join immediately will be prioritized
