Work for a startup company with world class AI and Cloud Computing capabilities and infrastructure.We are searching for a Big Data Systems who has moved into a Cloud Systems engineer function to join a growing team of specialists in Big Data and Cloud platforms.You will be responsible for the operational support, maintenance and expansion of our private cloud platform with a focus on Big data services (BDaaS). The Cloud infrastructure development group ensures maximum uptime of our private cloud platform. You will also act as a part of the escalation, issue triage and technical support processes. REQUIREMENTS: REQUIREMENTS:Knowledge and experience of some of the BigData related technologies: Hadoop, HBase, Spark, Hive, MapReduce, ElasticSearch, Flink and KafkaExpert level experience with server-level operating systems Unix/Linux, facilitating high-level engineering, architecture designUnderstanding of network and distributed storage systems such as, CEPH, EMC ECS, HDFS and protocols like FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS (concepts and architecture)You are knowledgeable of networks, routers, switches, firewalls and deep understanding TCP/IP stackStrong developments experience with shell, Python etc.Knowledge and experience of OpenStack production design, operations and troubleshooting would be beneficial5 years of experience as a Big Data Engineer
