We are assisting our client to find a Chief Operating Officer for their Billion Dirham turnover organization. They currently have over 1000 employees and are a well established organization within their field.The main focus of the COO will be to contribute to and implement the operational and commercial objectives of the Group. The COO would need to achieve profitable production growth whilst providing technical support to systems/processes, business improvement, and manufacturing groups to ensure the achievement of strategic goals.Responsibilities:- Manage the day to day operations of all the business units- Control and inventory plan the main warehouses- All main departments such as Sales, Marketing, Engineering, IT, ERP, Supply chain, HR and other departments will report directly into this role- Transform the operations of the group to be in line with worlds best LEAN manufacturing practices- Engage in key or targeted customer accounts- Prepare monthly reports for all business functions for the Board of Directors- Prepare and submit annual operational budgets & KPIs for approval, manage effectively the budget and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered. REQUIREMENTS: REQUIREMENTS:- From the following backgrounds: Manufacturing, metal extrusion or construction- Experience working in the Middle East- 15-20+ years experience- Logical and methodical approach to problem solving- Bachelors degree, (Masters degree or MBA -preferred but not essential)
