He/ She identifies and develops core data science components for the delivery of projects, architects specialized database and computing environments, explores and visualizes complex data set to provide incremental business value. He/ She must be proficient in creating custom analytic and data mining algorithms to help extract knowledge and meaning from vast stores of data.The candidate shall be able to refine a data processing pipeline focused on unstructured and semi-structured data refinement.For the immediate project, the candidate shall reside and work in Dubai with the project team till acceptance of the project by end-user.ResponsibilitiesPlan the development of analytical solutions from initial design through to implementation, prototyping and testing.Collaborate with offshore software developers and data engineers to deliver scalable analytical solutions, and build tools for data logging and repeatable data tasks.Deploy data models across different channels and customer platforms processes, if needed REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject with at least ten (10) years of industry experience with at least three (3) years of experience in the design and implementation of Big Data analytic solutions on a Hadoop-based platform. Proven hands-on experience leading architectural design of large-scale, high-availability Big Data solutionsAble to extract, analyze and present data in meaningful forms using BI tools such as Power BI, from a variety of data sources such as Databases, Hadoop and Cassandra systems.Must be able to communicate well and evaluate technical requirements.Able to act independently and make decisions with minimal supervisionOutstanding communication and presentation skillsAble to socialise and form new connections with partners and stakeholders quickly
